Our first exam (october 1, 7:40 p. m. ) will consist of 33 multiple-choice questions that test your knowledge of the material covered in class since our first meeting. Subsequent exams will test your knowledge of the material spanning the preceding exam and the current one. Each question, if answered correctly, will earn you three points. Since all exams start with one point, the perfect score is 100 points. Please be in place and ready to take the exam before 7:40 p. m. If you are late, you might have to wait to be seated and will still have to finish your test by the end of the period (in this case, 9:00 p. m. ) If you have a medical excuse and know that you will not be able to take the exam, you must notify me in writing (e-mail is fine) prior to the exam. Otherwise, you will not be granted a make-up exam without the intervention of your dean.
