Response to a poetry reading due in class or via sakai by tuesday 11/26. I strongly encourage you to attend one or both of the following events this week: Master class, 4:30, barnes and noble bookstore, second floor. Reading, 8 pm, college avenue student center multipurpose room. If you would like to obtain some extra credit in the class for attending, you ll need to turn in a critical response, one page in length, to one of these events. Your response should be based in active listening, which includes note-taking. Please include at least one reference to specific language from a specific poem. As you listen and take notes, then, pay attention to language that is particularly striking or memorable to you (this language might include phrases, lines, particular words or images, or patterns that structure a poem). Record as best you can this striking or memorable language.
