Rights that are waived when pleading guilty: self-incrimination (5th amendment, right to trial (6th amendment, confront witnesses (6th amendment) The trial tax explain what it is: judge will give harsher sentence if found guilty in trial because wasting court"s time , seems like defendant is being punished for invoking 6th amendment rights. More due process (bargaining chip for defendants)
