Assumption analysis- according to pritchard, assumptions are the hidden hypothesis which can be real or unreal. The most effective part of this technique is the validity of the assumptions may determine the validity of the project itself (pritchard, 2015, p. 36). Brain storming- the most effective part of brainstorming is all ideas come into notice. Then it relies on the group or facilitator to develop the ideas to risks. Cause and effect or fishbone diagram- sometimes we just expect the effect without unknown cause. In these causes finding causes will actually turn the risks into opportunities. So, cause and effect helps in finding opportunities of the project. Analogy technique- in this project analogy technique is effective in identifying risks in particular areas. For example, for identifying risks in awareness campaign, we can assume awareness campaign of an event in a university which can be analogous to the project we are working on.
