on transport costs, usually occurs when raw materials lose weight in the production
cost

Secondary- manufacturing operations that transform raw materials into more
usable forms

Tertiary- takes goods that are produced and manufactured by the primary and
secondary sectors and either sells them to consumers or uses them to perform

Quaternary- highly skilled, info based services
-R&D, management and administration, processing and disseminating info
Economic disparity- difference between individuals or populations in the
distribution of their assets, wealth, or income
Export processing zones- delimited geographical area of an export-oriented
manufacturing or service enterprise located in any part of the country
