PSYC 4030 : First Exam Study Guide

Studying for the exam (psyc 4030 dr. lane) As i mentioned on the first day of class, the first exam will be worth 100 points. Eighty- five points will come from multiple-choice questions, and 15 points will come from short answer questions that require a number of sentences to answer completely. You should bring a scan-tron to class, and you will be able to write your answers to the short- answer questions directly on the test booklet. You also need to bring your lsu id as we will be checking them. One thing that i emphasized on the first day was that the mc questions would be conceptual in nature. In other words, you will need to understand the concept, not simply memorize terms. For example, many of the questions will describe a scenario not discussed in class and you will need to be able to identify the most relevant concept (see example below).
