Criteria for skill tests and their individual definitions: i had a question on relevance and its definition. Know that golf, bowling, and archery are good sports that measure performance. Most of my test was on the statistics chapter and calculations. Completely understand the levels of data and examples of each (nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio) Be able to compute mean, median, and mode. Mode is the best measurement for categorical (nominal) data. Advantage of the mean is that it includes every score. Advantage of the median is that it is not affected by outliers. Standard deviation- amount all the scores differ or deviate from the mean. Know slide labeled probability for statistical tests. Difference b/w null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis. Know the different types of statistical tests and their individual examples. Be able to calculate the predicted score with given values.
