Climatology deals with long term state of atmosphere: long term variability, studied with geographic perspective, abstract, long term, month to centuries. Subfields of atmospheric sciences not on test: climatography, dynamic climatology/meteorology, physical climatology/meteorology, boundary layer climatology/meteorology, synoptic climatology/meteorology, tropical meteorology, applied climatology/ meteorology, climate change and variability. Micro scale: less than 1 km and shorter than 1 day. Meso-scale: 5-100 km, couple of hours couple of days. Hemispheric to global: several days, months, weeks, years.
