We always see in the news a picture of an african woman breastfeeding her baby hence the repetition of over and over. Synonyms that could have been used instead of tit include breast, boob, bosom, chest, teat, ta ta, etc. There are a lot of euphemisms (i. e. , a generally harmless word, name, or phrase that replaces an offensive or suggestive one) for tit. Tit comes off rough, raw, profane, disrespectful, etc. None of the other euphemisms catch your attention as much as tit does.
