Deliberative rhetoric- praises or blames some individual, for or against a proposed policy pg 34 (going to war) Superstructure- the institutions and ideas that result from material practices in a culture pg 195. Hegemony- subtle control exerted over a cultures ideas by the dominant class. Public sphere- process by which free people may deliberate public issues without undue influences.
