There are many things that make a population who they are. Looks at the interaction of biology and culture. We are complicated individuals we vary genetically and also in the way we respond to stimuli. One central area of interest that many anthropologists share is the interrelationship between what humans have inherited genetically and culture. Terms that refer to the fact that there are many different aspects to studying human beings. Anthropology also differs from other disciplines in emphasizing a broad comparative approach to the study of biology and culture, looking at all people (and their ancestors) and all cultures in all times and places it is holistic. We look at different cultures and draw comparisons. The belief in the inherent superiority of one"s own ethnic group or culture.
