Know the steps that lead to each of these problems. Single blind: run by experimenters who aren"t told the purpose of the study and also aren"t given info about the participants; expensive halo & rosenthal. Temporally stable, cross-situational individual differences, related to: cognition, emotions, feelings, & behavior. Genetics (extro/introversion), environment(intelligence), developmental factors(growth, maturation: what factors are personality traits related to, depends on the theory. May vary from as few as 2 to as many as 16. Projective measures: used to infer psychological traits from interpretations of ambiguous or unstructured stimuli (rorschach, tat, pth, dah)
