Faith- a relationship between you and the irreducible, organizing center of meaning for your life. Conversion- is a process that affects change in your center of meaning. Henotheism- faith in one center of meaning while recognizing that others have other centers. Faith in a particular center but you think the other faiths are wrong (nazis). Particularism- (pluralist) faith in your center of meaning but realize that others have other centers of meaning that are valid. Universalism- faith in one center of meaning that is universal (others are wrong) and it applies to all people (i am right and all others should agree with me). There are 3 types of universalism: monotheism, monism, and naturalism. God/gods (according to tilley)- the center of meaning in your life. Worship- engaging in practices that show the relationship between you and your center of meaning. Moralistic therapeutic deism- the typical teenager"s view on faith.
