When studying diversity the entire group as a whole should be considered and not just on personal levels. Status- such as a teacher and student. Master status- status the dominates others- class, race, gender, sexualorientaion, and disability, Dominant group- social group that controls in a society. Subordinate group-social group that lacks controls in a society. Us dominant groups are rich, white, male, heteosexual and no diability.
