Regime: the fundamental rules and norms of politics. Legitimacy: a value whereby people recognize and accept something as right and proper. A legitimate institution is widely recognized and accepted by the public. Federalism: powers are devolved to regional bodies and to local legislatures that control specific territories within the country.
