I. e. : our positions as parents, employee or students exists in relation to other positions such as child, boss, or professor. Further, each of these positions implies certain expectations and obligations on our part such as discipline, labor and studying. How we interact with others is shaped by the position we occupy. It is useful in describing social interaction.
