Children were often dirty and not fed well hard living conditions. Children are so innocent they don"t understand they are being sent away to work and die. All of them locked up in coffins of black . Children are so young and are already being worked so hard that they might even die. And by came an angel who had a bright key, and he opened the coffins and set them all free . This person is showing them the light and letting them out of their coffins. The white hair of tom dacre represents the innocence of childhood. A little black thing among the snow . The black thing is the child covered in soot in the white(innocent) snow. And because i am happy, and dance and sing, they think they have done me no injury . Parents of child think they haven"t done anything harmful even though. Reference to creation of all things (god)
