After thoroughly reading this chapter, it is safe to conclude that both the text and my own personal experiences correlate to the fact that regardless of the species, our language systems serve the same purpose: to survive. To begin to understand the similarities between humans and animals in terms of how they communicate, it is essential to establish what primal communication consists of.
