You have from 8 am to 10 am to do this exam. If no one objects, an extension until 10:15 am will be given. You may use your writing instrument and your test paper. Scratch paper will be available on request from the instructor. A sheet with statements of axioms and a selection of useful theorems and de nitions is given, you may tear it o so that you can consult it easily, and. I do not care if you hand it back unless of course you write gradeable work on it. If i ask you to state a theorem, i mean a statement in exact, formal geo- metrical language (possibly supported by a diagram, though your statement should say everything that is shown in the diagram). The informal english expression of a theorem is not what i am talking about. You are only required to do two of problems 5-8 (what i think of as the full-dress proof problems).
