The way things are made today is by employing people for a wage to produce them. Fundamental driving force through history is class struggle. History moves, things happen, because of the fundamental differences between classes. Proletariat and bourgeoisie are the two classes struggling. Bourgeoisie are the upper class that own the means of production. With the rise of classism- hierarchy becomes simplified.
