Research fraud: fakes or invents data that they did not collect, or isn"t honest on how they conducted the study. Plagiarism: stealing the ideas of writings of another or uses resources with citing. Plagiarism may be unethical but it is legal because it doesn"t break a law. Some ethical issues involve an abuse of power and trust. The researcher has a certain degree of authority and judgement that is trusted by the participant.
