When there is punishment it brings people to cooperate in groups. Conservatives want order more, liberals speak for weak and oppressed want change. When you see that conservative and liberals balance each other then we will step outside the moral matrix. He advises us to step out and see the other side this helps us get out of self righteousness. Says that the line between good and bad is permeable.
