Information comes in (input), is processed, and produces a response (output). Memory is the basis for everything we do. All our responses have been acquired over time. We have been programming our brain since birth to produce different responses, to different sensory information. Ram determines how many tasks your computer can process at any one time. Similarly, there is only so much information your brain can process at once. Think of something that you can talk about for 30 seconds, without stopping. Both of you will talk at the same time, and then try and recall details about what the other said.
