Now emphasis is more on research hence, more scientific names used: divided into sub-categories (biomechanics, sport nutrition, physiology, biochemistry ) Research methods course is important b/c can help understand research processes, and journal articles can also help understand other disciplines in kine. Top 10 reasons for taking research methods (1 being the worst reason): credits for graduation, requirement for grad school, help complete assignments, help understand info given in class, understand textbooks.
