Theoretically, sufism is the path followed by sufi"s to reach the truth, god. In order to understand sufism and how it merged into islam, one must know about abu. This sunni theologian provided the explanation of the sufi path to the knowledge of god. In my essay, i will try to prove that sufis and conventional. Muslims believe in achieving the same goal, which is to attain spiritual purity in the eyes of their lord, however, al-ghazali"s interpretation on how one can achieve this purity is not achievable. Sufism is a series of concepts and practices that range from seclusion to singing and dancing; and is based on a mix of many different religions and philosophies, mainly. In its earliest form, sufi teachings stressed that an individual should give more emphasis to the spiritual aspects of islam, leading to losing sight of traditional islam.
