The author talks about why there are different groups for health care systems, why some groups have better health in comparison to others. It also talks about the negative influence neoliberalism has on the health and healthcare policies, as it strips away citizens their voice to speak. Moreover, it discusses some of the inequalities that lie between canada and the united states" healthcare systems. United states does very little to fix their neo-liberalism views and causes it to have a blind eye on the healthcare of the poorer demographic regions as people simply cannot afford it. It also discusses the importance of carrying a high socio-economic status which also directly correlates to better health and lower mortality rates than those with a lower economic status.
