Strikes, protests, unionization, working through legal and governmental system. Patriarchy is the root of all oppression, and men"s ability to physically dominate women (esp regarding sexuality) No means , female control of own sexuality, sheltering women. Maternal thinking: not inherent to women, result of socialization. Development of a collective identity for groups which permits them to challenge stereotypes and oppression differences between individual women & identity politics, globalization & similarities between women, awareness of privilege.
