This area is identified as being under researched, the only sources used in this review are un agencies (limited) The jensen and arnett review article is different in that its focus is applying more traditional theories about adolescence/emerging adulthood within the context of globalization. They seek to create a new set of ideas to understand how young people from around the world form their identities and adapt to changing world; draw upon wealth of international qualitative research to illustrate their ideas. Learning about adolescent health is important for population health and the economic development of nations. As a developmental phase, it is 2nd only to childhood in terms of psychological ad physiological change.
