Early areas of behaviour de cits in mtbi is usually the attention- concentration related; speci cally in areas such as: processing speed, and defective memory performances. In vast majority of cases, these cases reach recovery in about 3 months, with no permanent cognitive/behavioural de cits. Those complicated mtbi show slower recovery, similar to the recovery of those with moderate tbi. Post-concussion syndrome this can be a common diagnosis following a brain injury, speci cally, mtbi: however, the symptoms of the pcs, are non-speci c, sharing patterns of symptoms similar to other disorders, whose origin is also not well- speci ed. Recent research supports the idea that, at least those with uncomplicated mtbi, should reach full recovery in the course of three months post injury. However, subjects describe more and more symptoms in their post- morbid state, in such a time-frame, well beyond the window of a mtbi recovery.
