To change behaviours, you have to identify what has to be changed, which is/are the target behaviour(s) Parenting: behavioural techniques to promote behaviours e. g. learning to walk, toilet training, sharing and helping behaviours, can decrease problem behaviours e. g. temper tantrums, aggression, acting out. #2: autism spectrum disorders (asds) intensive behavioural interventions are e ective when working with autistic kids, to help promote pro-social behaviours and develop language skills; treatment of choice for early intervention. Behaviour therapy and cbt: working with a range of clinical disorders, including anxiety disorders (e. g. phobias, ocd) and depressive disorders, for many clinical disorders, has the strongest evidence for therapeutic outcomes, either alone or combined with meds.
