Document Summary

There are many types of social networking in which people use to interact with their friends, family, neighbours, classmates, and even with people across the world. Myspace, twitter, texting, and many other social networks are accessible to most people 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and have taken over their social lives. Social networking is most popular online through websites that permit you to not only share personal information, but to have access to other people"s information. The major concern of social networking is privacy and how its users take advantage of their access to other people"s personal information and statuses. Most people who use social networking are teenagers who go to high school or university where they are currently surrounded by the media and have continuous access to today"s ever-growing technology. For example, facebook users have their own profiles which contain their e-mail address, which school they attend, phone numbers, as well as their hometown.
