Stanley milgram conducted serious of experience to study the phenomenon of obedience to an authority figure. Invited people to participant in a scientific study of memory and learning . Participants reported to milgram"s lab where they met someone dressed in a lab coat and someone named mr. wallace : this person was actually a confederate (i. e an accomplice) of the experimenter but the participant didn"t actually know this.
