Environmental management is managing humans: there is not an end-point, or desired goal that is universally accepted, most environmental management occurs to meet legal requirements. Preservationists: 1830s: george perkins marsh: man and nature, created national parks, was observed through the natural revolution as factories was going up, noticed we cant build factories and cities everywhere.
