Document Summary

The task which was observed was an operator on a processing line through which they lift a panel which weighs about 1. 36kg and is in a rectangular shape sizing to 45x91cm. The operator is lifting the metal panels from the ground to a moving conveyer belt, which moves about 15ft/min. The conveyer has built in hooks through which the frame of the panel rests on with minimal effort. When lifting the panel, the operator performs a spinal flexion and pelvic tilt to pick up the panel before standing upright and twisting to turn towards the conveyer to hook the panel onto the hooks. 1. 54 meter off the ground through which the operator is lifting the panel above their shoulder height to place it onto the hooks. When walking the operator was able to easily maintain a straight back and arms close to their body through which strain is lessened.
