Do not feel they meet criteria for adulthood. Idenity statuses and factors used to determine them (marcia) Foreclosure status: chosen a career path but there was no idenity crisis for that paricular career path. They might be pressured, family business they must uphold, parents pressure. Moratorium status: somebody is acively struggling and challenging, but they have not made a commitment to a career path or relaionship.
