Often described as an approach to psychology rather than a speci c branch of psychology. Premise that just as our bodies have evolved by the process of natural selection, so have our mind. They set up a series of experimental tests in order to check wether children between 3-5 years of age were able to attribute a false belief to someone else. They think others know what they know.
