In contrast, women give more weight than men to traits that signify resources, such as wealth, ambition, character, and status: women are also attracted to men who are confident but men don"t really care about women"s dominance. In one study, participants read about a man who had a net worth of million. Some people read that he had earned this fortune by winning the lottery. Others read that he had earned this money through selling a dot-com company.
