Behaviorist theory -> concerned w/ how behaviour changes in response to diff configurations of stimuli (ie. reward & punishment) Transcendental method (immanuel kant) -> observes fx or consequences of a process then asks: what was the process to bring about these fx? . Working memory -> storage sys in which info is held while that info is being worked on; system. Phonological buffer -> passive storage device that serves as a part of the articulatory rehearsal loop. Subvocalization -> covert speech where one goes thru the motions of speaking or speech movements without making any sound. Articulatory rehearsal loop -> assistants apart of working-memory system; draws on subvocalized speech which creates a record in the phonological buffer. Central executive -> needed for any interpretaion or analysis; director of the working-memory system. Working-memory system -> system of mental resources used for holding information in an easily accessible form.
