Document Summary
Plot summary - brian (of nazareth) cohen is born on the same day as jesus of nazareth. Though born on the same day, both take two completely different paths in life, but lead to the same conclusion (crucifixion). Brian began his life by joining a political resistance group called the people"s front of judea after attending the sermon on the mount and falling for judith. A small victory occurs when he is able to paint political slogans across an entire wall in jerusalem. He is caught soon after by pontius pilate, but escapes and finds that a large proportion of the population believes that he is a the messiah (because of his birth date). He arrives to a series of would be prophets, mystics and hagglers, all who prevent him from quickly escaping the guards. At this time he preached several sermons that he has heard from jesus which just further solidifies the audience"s belief of his divinity.
