Postmodernism uses mass and popular culture as a point of reference for our real life activites. This can negatively mean that there will always be a sense that everything has been done before, Post modernism and postmodern style speaks to new kinds of human subjects through popular culture, art, literature, architecture and advertising. A term used to capture life during a period marked by radical transformation of the social, economic and political aspects of modernity. Post modernism is a set of trends in the art world in the late twentieth century that question, among other things concepts of authenticity, authorship, and the idea of style progression. Postmodern works are highly reflexive with a mix of styles: a (cid:272)ulture that"s strictly organized around digital technologies.
