Each and every discipline has its own language. A set of specialized terms and concepts are developed by the field and discipline ( experts"). The development of this vocabulary is and what we do not need to focus on for analytical purposes purposeful. This is important because of the reasons above. Each theory defines its subject matter in a particular way, and differently than other theories. Each theory applies its concepts for the purposes of explaining in a different way. Often, historical circumstances change, such that issues and concerns that were relevant are no longer relevant in the now existing time. Third world: prefatory comments (1) the term was invented in the west. Its meaning and content reflect the assumptions, interests, and concerns of those who originated it, rather than the assumptions of those to whom the term is applied: liberal, democratic, capitalist states. Involuntary: natural liberation movements, ie: vietnam and algeria.
