Social & cultural anthropologists study cultural diversity in all living human societies, including their own. Anthropology is the integrated study of human nature, human society, and human history. Humans are treated in anthropology as social and biological beings. Biological anthropology: primatology, paleontology, human biology and variation. Social and cultural anthropology: economic anthropology, anthropology of development, political anthropology, ethno history, medical anthropology. Anthropological linguistics: descriptive linguistics, comparative linguistics, historical linguistics. Anthropological research done to solve practical problems. Paleontology: the search for the fossilized re(cid:373)ai(cid:374)s of hu(cid:373)a(cid:374)ity(cid:859)s early ancestors. Primatology: the study of non-hu(cid:373)a(cid:374)(cid:859)s pri(cid:373)ates, the closest li(cid:448)i(cid:374)g relatives of human beings. Reconstructs describes & interprets human behavior & cultural patterns through material remains left behind by earlier societies.
