Theougria: the highest form of magic, involving practices with the divine, such as invoking deities. Theougia included rituals of state and sacrifices for the good of the state. Mageia: was the second highest form of magic , practiced by various experts to help themselves or others for a price. They performed similar rituals as practitioners of theourgia but on a smaller and more private scale. Goetia: is considered the lowest form of magic, understood as a fraudulent form of mageia or magic. Hymns: involved the mention of a gods same or power and were sung or even danced to in a petition of sorts. Typically worn on the body or placed in the home, the were generally used for protection and/or empowerment (an example would have been the christian cross hung in the homes of christian families) Tooth pick of jesus: inscribed with the letters chi rho which were the first two letters of greek word for christ.
