Perfusion= cv system, flow of blood in the pulmonary circulation to the alveolar capillaries: 2nd process of respiration, capillary beds surround alveoli and allow easy exchange of o2 and co2. Some of the alveoli might not be so open-> alveoli are flat-> blood will not get gas exchange-> waste= mismatching. Or hypertension or heart failure-> blood can"t flow-> body won"t get enough o2-> wasted= mismatching: provide some examples of ventilation disorders and diffusion disorders.
