In the documentary myths and legend of lost civiliazations, the film discusses how myth was used in five different regions. Choose one of those regions and discuss how myth was used in that region. In the documentary myths and legends of lost civilizations the egypt civilizations is mentioned. It was the first human civilizations with myths and a lot of science. It"s pretty impressive to see the massive structures and statues created in ancient time without machine power. One of the myths was worshiping sun as a god. The central priestly source for the egyptian creation myth is the cult of atum or re, the sun god of heliopolis (as citied in leeming, 2014, pg. 17) this example shows the importance of sun in egyptian culture. In my opinion india uses the similar myth in hindu culture. Hindu culture is pretty ancient and well known for worshiping animals such as cows, snakes, elephants and many more.
