The mental mins is able to influence the physical body through the brain. You can damage the physical but the mind will stay the same cause they are separate. However, others had suggested that the brain/body and mind were more closely linked. First suggested that abnormal behaviour was caused by physical problems of the brain and not spiritual possession.
