Before beginning the examination do the following: (using a #2 pencil): enter your student number (id number) on your scantron form. Write in the number in the spaces provided, and fill in the code box below it that will be read by the machine. The examination is 2 hours in duration. 2/3 of the exam is in the form of multiple choice questions. 1/3 of the exam is in the form of a long problem. Enough space has been left to answer the long question on this exam paper. Leave your student id on the desk for inspection by the exam proctors. Be very careful when entering your id and responses on the scantron form. Use an hb pencil or similar dark pencil only. Written answers to the long problem must be in ink. If you choose not to write your answers in ink you forfeit the right to have your examination remarked.
