Self confidence: good coping mechanisms and skills, if there is a problem, they don"t see it as problem but as challenge, solution finder person, confidence that they can handle things and manage things. Independence: think for themselves, not swayed easily by other people, independent enough that they like privacy and peace, most people in western society lacking feeling comfortable alone but people who are independence appreciate time alone. Achievement: they are produces (invulnerables, they have hobbies, interest, creative like to explore things, intense interest at a very young age. Both boys and girls in grade 9 said they wanted to achieve in becoming a doctor, lawyer, and dentist. When they have graduated from high school (exit state), the girls changed their goals to becoming nurses, dental hygienist, and legal secretary, but for men stayed the same. Girls down shifted: in high school there are cliques, cohorts develop based on special kinds of knowledge.
