Presented as an enigma simultaneously constructed as a dangerous women and woman in danger: authors use 3 sources: the plea agreement, her examination the cross examination & bernardos examination and the report to the attorney. This stance and the authors assert it is critical to integrate. Homolka"s lived experiences and her personal discourses within the theoretical and methodological processes in order to demonstrate how her dichotomous construction as dangerous and in danger emerges. Because of the lack of analysis of both sides of this dichotomy, homolka is frequently misrepresented as overtly dangerous.
