Sociology: systematic study of human groups and their interactions
Sociological Perspective: refers to the unique way in which sociologists see our world and can

influenced by larger social forces.

Personal troubles result from individual challenges

Quality of mind: refers to one’s ability to look beyond personal circumstance and into social

Law of 3 stages: Theological- religious outlook, the world is an expression of God
Metaphysical- a period of questioning and challenging

The Political Revolution: renaissance to the enlightenment (Machiavelli, Locke, Descartes,
